Frequently Asked Questions

Is argan oil comedogenic?

No. Argan oil has a comedogenic rating of 0, meaning it does not clog pores. It's rich in oleic acid (~46%) and linoleic acid (~36%), both of which support skin's natural barrier. This makes it ideal for acne-prone and sensitive skin.

How do I use Batana oil on my hair?

Apply 5-10 drops to damp hair, focusing on the mid-lengths and ends. Batana oil is rich in tocotrienols (up to 50× more potent than standard Vitamin E), making it deeply penetrating. For scalp treatment, massage into the scalp 1-2 times per week and leave overnight or for 2 hours before shampooing.

Can I mix different oils together?

Yes. Many customers blend lighter oils (Jojoba, Rosehip) with heavier ones (Batana, Castor) to customize texture and benefits. For example, mixing Argan with Rosemary + Castor creates a potent scalp oil for hair growth.

Are your oils certified organic?

Yes, our oils are certified organic at source. Each is grown and cold-pressed under organic certification held by our supply partners, and we hold that documentation on file. Our Argan Oil comes from Morocco's UNESCO-protected Arganeraie Biosphere Reserve; our Batana Oil is sustainably harvested in Miskito Honduras. Canadian Grace bottles every product in Canada with nothing added and nothing removed, so what's certified at origin is what reaches your skin.

Do you test on animals?

No. Canadian Grace products are never tested on animals — not by us, not by our suppliers, and not by any third party acting on our behalf. We do not sell in markets that require animal testing as a condition of entry. Every formulation is vegan, with no animal-derived ingredients.

Where is the product bottled?

All Canadian Grace Wellness oils are bottled and quality-tested in Ontario, Canada. We source raw oils globally but maintain full QA control in our Canadian facility.
